Your first acupuncture appointment

A practical guide to preparing for a consultation with Dr. Binbin Michelle Li at Binbin’s Acupuncture in The Dymocks Building, Sydney CBD.

Before your appointment

• Complete any Cliniko forms sent before your visit.
• Bring a list of current medicines, supplements and relevant health information.
• Wear comfortable clothing that allows suitable access for assessment and treatment.
• Have a light meal beforehand unless another health practitioner has advised otherwise.

During the consultation

Your appointment begins with an individual health history and Chinese medicine assessment. Dr. Li will explain the proposed approach and answer questions before treatment. Acupuncture or complementary Chinese medicine techniques are selected according to individual needs and consent.

After the appointment

Any relevant self-care or follow-up information will be discussed with you. Responses vary between individuals, so contact the clinic if you have questions after your visit. This general information does not replace advice from your GP or medical specialist.
